Bio
The oldest of four children, I was born in Tyler, Minnesota, in 1973. When I was fifteen, we moved to Rapid City, South Dakota, which I still consider my home. I love living in the Black Hills, surrounded by pine forests.
I married my husband Bert in the summer of 2011 at a gorgeous Renaissance-themed wedding. We don't have children yet, but I've gotten lots of practice babysitting my nephews and nieces.
I've worked several different jobs. I've been a supervisor for grades 3-6 at a Christian school; a gift shop clerk; a library page (that's a job, not a book part); a library tech (which is one step up from a page); and a retail clerk at a used bookstore.
Writing is my favorite thing to do. I'm especially fascinated by different cultures and the alien/human interaction in science fiction/fantasy stories.
Currently, I'm pursuing a degree at college, double majoring in anthropology and history.
