Little Danny is a subgenre of Stargate SG-1 fanfic in which the character Daniel Jackson becomes a child.  In late 2005, I joined an online group of Little Danny fans.  (It has since evolved to include stories and fans of other characters becoming "littled.")  Because of the encouragement and feedback as I posted each chapter to the group's list, The Price of Knowledge became the fastest novel I've written.  Its sequel, The Burden of Power series, owes its existence to online readers who've asked for more of the story.  In addition to the writing support, I've made many friends from all over the world, including Anne from Germany who created amazing photo manipulations for some of the stories.
